I am Marlene de Boer, a professional middle and long-distance triathlete. This is my third year as a pro, and I am proud to call myself a multi-time IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 champion. In 2024, I became the European and Dutch long-distance champion, claimed the national title on the middle distance, and set a national record. I won IRONMAN Kalmar, IRONMAN 70.3 Poznań, and Challenge Almere. Over the past year, I have made huge progress, and I’m incredibly proud of that. My biggest dream? A podium finish at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Every day, I work relentlessly to make that dream a reality. I’m grateful to be part of the KU Pro Team and to compete in a sport where hard work and consistency truly make the difference. Triathlon is a pure and honest competition, and I love that we, as professionals, get to share the course with passionate amateurs.
